Two Weeks Of Fun Ahead!

The girls woke up early to send off Danielle at Eppley Airfield.

The girls and I are looking forward to a terrific time this month. For the next two weeks, they'll be living with me while Danielle does some missionary type work in a foreign country. I wasn't sure if the girls wanted to wake up at 4:15 a.m. to see their mom off, but as you can see in the photos, there wasn't a tired eye around.

The back of the van was our mobile headquarters for fireworks fun.

We picked the St. Thomas More parking lot as the place to shoot off our fireworks. And we weren't the only ones. Several people were there shooting things off, including one family from the neighborhood that had a few industrial grade "explosives."

Emily's boyfriend, Kingsley, joined us.

Back At Rosenblatt ... Well, Sort Of

I enjoyed a visit to the mini-Rosenblatt Stadium that recalls its predecessor.
