School Visit For Veronica

Veronica has been doing quite well in school, which means her teacher is always looking for opportunities to give her extra work. One of these "advanced learning" type of projects involved her giving a presentation to her class ... about her dad's work.

She carefully prepared an introduction – using information she gained from pre-interviewing me – and composed about a half-dozen questions that could be posed during the presentation. They were good questions, too, so I really had to think about the answers.

I brought along my BMC SLX01 and a few other props. There was even a door prize for the student who guessed how many flights I took last year. As a special bonus (a week later), the folks at the BMC Racing Team's service course in California sent me Elite water bottles to give to each student.

It was nice to have use of the overhead.
Some of Veronica's questions were really good ones.
My BMC proved to be a popular prop.
